| As I've said before 2010 is the year of the fillies at Langaller. We set off for Three Counties with four young fillies on board. I am very proud with how these youngsters have matured in a matter of just a few weeks, each of them loading and travelling like real grown-ups. Di's Tawstock Fedora added to her unbeaten record by winning her 2 year old filly class. New girl on the team was Bridget Skinner's Royal Crest by Dazzler, now a three year old this was her debut into showing and she behaved impeccably and stood 2nd in a quality class. Sadly Red Ember of Jane Ellis's had a walk over in her 3 year old hack class. A win but a somewhat empty achievement. Evening Chorus banged her hind leg just below the hock and although sound we felt it unfair on her to present her when she has been on such good form to date and so she wasn't shown. |
