| A small team of just 3 owing to my not showing under Jennie Loriston-Clarke due to our business connection meant a reletively quiet show. 1st to go was Di's 2 year old filly Tawstock Fedora, now an old hand at the showing job! She cemented her Devon win by winning again with very favourable comments all round. the best is definately yet to come for this filly. Our own Trenavey Cry Freedom, a 3 year old filly by Catherston Liberator bred by Stephen improved on her '2nd' at Devon County to win her class and then went on to stand Reserve Champion to Delvin Evan's 2 year gelding who subsequently went to claim his Cuddy ticket later in the week. Well done to all of his connections, we're very happy to stand second to him.......and he's out of the way from any following Qualifiers!!!The third filly was jane Ellis's Evening Chorus, by Daws Firebird who stood top of the line in her 3 year old part-bred class. Not bad, 3 horses, 3 wins. |
