| Honiton follows North Devon thye next day. This was to be our new lightweight mares debut. Stephen bought a lovely Kings Master mare from Co Tipperary last autumn in foal to OBOS Quality. She foaled a filly on May 13th and is now in foal to Catherston Dazzler for 2010. She is only a a5 year old and so will do a few local show before heading to The National Hunter Show for the novice mare class. She duly won her class as did her foal, a very good start! Julia Anderson's gelding Take The Biscuit won the 3 year old class and then the mare took the Led Championship. She is called Coogee Bay and came to us known as Dessie at home and so we haven't changed it. Richard May's coloured filly won a strong coloured youngstock class and stood Champion of her section. Dessie then went forward to the overall Championship at the end of the day and to our absolute delight took the Supreme award. And on her 1st outing! 4 horses, 4 wins, 2 Championships and a Supreme. |
