| Our first outing with the youngsters of the season and a great show for them before the County Shows get going. I took just two, a small hunter filly and a Coloured 2 year old. The small hunter is a brown three year old filly by Big Sink Hope that I bought as a yearling in Ireland having bought her full sister at Goresbridge sales earlier. Having waited for 18 months to show her I was pleased with how she coped the day and very pleased that she won her class. The coloured filly is owned by the family of the late Liz May for who we produced this filly as a yearling to win at Devon County and stand Champion at Totnes last season. She is by Lostock Huntsman. She too won her class. |
