This stallion is certainly one to follow. In his exceptional showing career he took many Championships at both County and National level culminating in taking the U.K. and International Supreme Stallion Championship at Stoneleigh in 1991.

A late starter in Dressage, he was competing at Medium level and working at Advanced Medium before an injury interrupted his training and he turned his efforts to his stud duties.

His offspring are truly outstanding. Over the last few years they have consistently won at County level with two of his early dressage foals taking Regional Juvenile Supreme awards with A.E.S. His older offspring are proving to be much sought after with three and four year olds selling at public auction for £8’000 and £10’000 respectively. In 2003 DAWS FIREBIRD sired the winning Hunter yearling at The Royal, both the Champion and Reserve Champion foals at The National Hunter Show and The Champion foal at The B.S.H.C. & R.H. Championships. No mean achievement for any stallion.

He is perfect for breeders wishing to produce hacks, riding horses and hunter ponies from smaller mares as well as hunters, eventers and dressage horses from the larger types.

His bloodlines are much sought after within the eventing fraternity. His sire SATURAN was a consistant endurance winner with successful B.S.J.A. competitor. DAWS FIREBIRD is half brother to Mark Todd’s Advanced Eventer ‘ROYAL MAIL’ and his full sister also evented at Intermediate level. Many U.K. horse breeders are now recognizing the benefits of using the Arab blood which appears in the pedigrees of so many top European Sport Horses.
